How To Make Money From NFTs Without Being A Twitter Influencer

Unless you’re an influencer with thousands of Twitter followers to be specific then you can go ahead and not read this article.

Alright now that the influencers are gone we can go ahead with this article for the non-influcers on making bank with NFTs.

How Do I Make Money From NFTs?

Making money from NFTs is a piece of cake for Twitter influencers, why?

Because they don’t necessarily have to even purchase the NFTs to make money to begin with, wether free mints or not. They necessarily get paid to promote these NFT projects to their followers and also get whitelist spots along with it and also gets to choose who get to be whitelisted too.

Now, ain’t that the deal of the day? I’d very much want to be a Twitter influencer at this point don’t you think?!!

That will be all for Twitter influencers for today.

NOW!!! We have a problem to tackle and that’s the everyday normal person trying to get around this NFT space of a thing and make some money while in the NFT space, let’s get on with it shall we!

If you’re not looking for a long term approach then you should pay a very good attention to what I’m about to say cause you won’t get this piece of information elsewhere.

What do I do if I’m looking to make quick bucks with NFTs and I’m not an influencer, this is what i will do;

It’s no news that the current trend is “FREE MINTS”

So this is what I will do, I’d look for free mint projects and start grinding for whitelist one way or the other but here’s one thing I wouldn’t do, which is spends hours on discord grinding for whitelist straining my eyes day in day out all in the name of whitelist spots. Gosh no thank you 🙏!!!!

I’ve gotten 3 three whitelist spots just from Twitter alone within the past three weeks not even up to a month.

How did I do it?

Twitter giveaways!!!

Wether it’s from tagging 3 friends or whatever amount to just being an early interact with a certain NFT project Twitter post, I’ve gotten whitelisted with these very approach I just mentioned.

Follow these instructions I’m about to mention step by step;

STEP 1.

  • Most of the time the rule for Twitter giveaways are as follow:

Like, Follow, Retweet & Tag 3 friends.

All you just have to do is to follow the instructions as stated, plus to make it easy for you just have to save your 3 friend’s username on your notepad so you don’t have to start typing it out again it’ll just be copy and paste.

Here’s a little bonus, add some few comments to the tag. For example;

‪Would appreciate if I win this one from you, never won a WL before🙏.

@Leesnowzy @onukwusi_nelson  @shykvnqsley @umoh_jesse ‬

Now, if I’m a Twitter influencer and I see your comment, it’s going to stick on my mind while I keep scrolling through other comments and might just give you the spot.

Is this all of it?

Lmao of course no!

Twitter influencers use something called Twitter picker to select their winners automatically. The picker has some certain criteria’s you have to meet before you can be considered for a whitelist spot pick.

Advertisement

They are as follow;

  • You must be following the Twitter influencer
  • Profile Description
  •   Profile Picture
  •   Profile Banner
  •   Account Age: Six Months
  •   Last Tweet: Past Month
  • You must like and retweet the post
  • You must be active on their page

These are the criteria’s so you just have meet all of them and they are very simple. After you’ve completed the list then you pick some certain influencers nothing more than 10 different influencers only and make you participate in all their giveaway post and I guarantee you, you’ll get picked one day by the Twitter picker bot. I’ve gotten whitelisted with this method 3 times.

STEP 2.

Early interactions or being among a certain number of first come persons to join the project’s discord.

When you come across a new Twitter account for an NFT project you will definitely know.

What you have to do at this point is to follow the account and turn on notification(for real this time)

They tend to host this kind of whitelist spot giveaways, it could be first 100 – 2000 persons to join their discord get whitelist role. I’ve gotten whitelisted myself on a free mint project with this method. It’s very simple and if you fail to get in on your first try then no need to worry cause they’ll definitely host another one on the same project plus you’ll be doing this with multiple projects so you don’t have an excuse not to get whitelisted. I promise you, it’s that SIMPLE!!!

I don’t personally recommend fan art unless you’re a really good artist.

I also don’t recommend spending hours on discord servers straining your eyes (too stressful).

There are bunch of other methods but this two I just mentioned are sure to get you whitelisted from time to time.

NFT is still on it’s testing phase, it’s the future that I can guarantee. Don’t give up!!!

IS SHIBA INU (SHIB) A GOOD INVESTMENT?

Cryptocurrencies that share an incredibly cute Shiba Inu mascot have taken center stage in the realm of meme coins. Dogecoin (DOGE) was the pioneer of doggy cryptos, released as a joke in 2013 when both Bitcoin and the Shiba Inu “doge” meme were all the rage.

To the astonishment of the creators, Dogebecame quite popular soon after its release. However, many of its users eventually lost interest in the project until it was reintroduced into the popular consciousness by Elon Musk and users on a cryptocurrency forum on Reddit called SatoshiStreetBets.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) launched in August 2020 with the mission of overtaking Dogecoin. Shiba was dubbed the “Doge Killer”. On October 27th, Shiba Inu flipped Dogecoin’s market cap to become the alpha pup. However, since then Dogecoin has reclaimed the spot as the most valuable meme coin. The Shiba Inu team launched a decentralized exchange (DEX) called ShibaSwap where users can stake their Shiba tokens to earn interest. More recently, the team has announced its plans to enter the layer-2 space with its own network focused on scalability.

What is Shiba Inu Token?

Shiba Inu was founded by an anonymous person with the pseudonym Ryoshi. Shiba is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network, which allows the developers to build the ShibaSwap DEX and integrate other tokens and NFTs into the platform’s ecosystem. The maximum supply of Shiba was set to 1 quadrillion tokens, which is much higher than most cryptocurrencies.  The enormous token size caused Shiba’s price to be much lower than most assets with similar market capitalizations.

Half of the minted Shiba were locked into Uniswap to reward liquidity providers in Shiba pools on the DEX. The other half were sent directly to Vitalik Buterin, the visionary developer who founded Ethereum. Ryoshi’s intention was to burn the tokens, hoping that Buterin wouldn’t sell them, which would make the Shiba token basically worthless. By May 10, 2021, Buterin’s 500 trillion Shiba was worth billions of dollars, way more than any other token in his wallet.

Buterin realized that he could make an enormous impact in the world with the money and decided to donate 20% of his Shiba (100 trillion Shiba worth over $1 billion – 10% of its total supply), split between two charities. One of the charities wasn’t named, and the other is the India COVID-Crypto Relief fund. This gift was one of the largest single donations ever made with cryptocurrency and brought legitimacy to Shiba and the cryptocurrency market as a whole.

Shiba Inu is built on top of Ethereum, which means it can take advantage of smart contracts to create much more advanced applications, like DEXs and NFTs. The token released their ShibaSwap DEX back over the summer, and they have recently released “Shiboshis” which is a collection of 10,000 NFTs. Dogecoin’s code is based on Bitcoin’s and lacks compatibility with smart contracts. Due to this, Doge can only be used as an internet currency and as an (unstable) store of value.

ShibaSwap adds new ways to use Shiba tokens, providing more value to its users. ShibaSwap launched with incentivizes for new users to buy Shiba tokens and stake them in liquidity pools, helping adoption of the DEX. However, this tactic is nothing new on the Ethereum network. Many decentralizedapplications (dApps) already provide staking pools, and when the liquidity mining incentives run out, there will be some sell pressure.

Shiba Inu and Doge are currently competing to be the goodest boy. Right now, Dogecoin is in the lead. Will the Doge army be able to come back? At the time of writing, Dogecoin’s market capitalization is about $25 billion, as compared to Shiba Inu’s $17 billion market cap.

What is ShibaSwap?

The long-awaited ShibaSwap platform launched in July 2021 offering a multitude of features. The Dig feature allows users to provide liquidity to the DEX in exchange for BONES. Staking in any of these pools may earn a large amount of interest over time, but 66% of the returns will be locked for 6 months. This rule will keep stakers on ShibaSwap from selling off a large portion of their newly acquired tokens immediately and should help to keep their prices up.

The Bury tool allows users to stake SHIB, LEASH and BONE to earn passive income on your tokens. It is not entirely clear where the Bury interest comes from – most likely new issuance, which may cause inflation.

On the ShibaSwap launch day, Discord Admin Shiba Cat, stopped by Benzinga’s “Moon or Bust” to dive deep on the DEX.

Is Shiba Inu Safe?

Shiba Inu is not a safe investment by any traditional standards. While massive gains are possible if ShibaSwap rises in popularity, Shiba doesn’t add anything novel to the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. It can still have more use cases than Dogecoin because it’s on the Ethereum network, but that doesn’t mean it will perform any better.

Advertisement

There are also distinct security risks in depositing cryptocurrencies into anonymous projects like ShibaSwap because the code may allow the developers to scam investors out of their cryptos. Scams that cost users millions of dollars are becoming more and more common in the wild west that is DeFi. This possibility can be ruled out by experienced code auditors if they can access the code, but ShibaSwap hasn’t been audited yet.

Where to Invest in Shiba Inu

Because of its recent rise in popularity, Shiba was listed on multiple trading platformsincluding Crypto.com and eToro. You can also buy Ethereum on another exchange like Coinbase, Gemini or Kraken and swap it for Shiba on Uniswap. It is especially easy to buy Shiba on Crypto.com with their app (on iOS and Android). All you need to do to purchase it is set up an account and verify your identity. In the United States, verifying your identity requires your address, Social Security number and driver’s license. Once you have your account set up and verified, you can invest in Shiba with USDT (a stablecoin pegged to the USD that can be purchased on crypto.com as well).

Here’s what Shiba Inu is doing ‘right’ & others are getting it ‘wrong’

Towards the end of November, Shiba Inu had collaborated with William David Volk, the game creator and former Vice President of Technology at Activision, to consult on its play-to-earn non-fungible token game.

The game originally dubbed the Oshiverse is set to be the newest and most notable extension to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Shytoshi Kusama, the project leader of the decentralized meme coin, shared had then shared details with regard to the said development towards the end of November via an article titled “The Future of Gaming is Shib.”

SHIB doing it the “right” way

Quite recently, Nathan Bosia, who has been in the video game industry for 25 years, partnered with AAA publishers and one person indies, launched the first in-game currency on PlayStation, and typically put God of War’s Kratos into Mortal Kombat, took Twitter to share his insight about how to integrate NFTs into games. He explicitly stated,

“You shouldn’t.”

Advertisement

Interestingly, David Volk was on the same page as Bosia. After highlighting how others from the space are “doing it wrong,” he highlighted that SHIB wasn’t. Replying to the same tweet, Volk said,

I’ve been in the video game industry for over 40 years. Former VP of Technology at Activision. Technical production of the first CD-ROM game Co-designer of the first iPhone game. You are right, they are doing NFT games wrong. We (#SHIB aren’t).

Volk has taken pride in the project that Shiba Inu has been developing ever since the beginning. During his initial days, he had once stated that it would become “one of the most significant games of all time.”

Advertisement

Well, that shouldn’t be taken lightly because Volk is no ordinary game developer. He’s a true visionary, who has decades of top-notch high-quality experience on, both, the corporate side and on the independent side.

The Oshiverse was, as such, first touted on 14 October, when Shytoshi said he had met with a potential game studio to discuss launching a SHIB-based game. The following day, he had described the meeting as “fantastic.”

Well, Shiba Inu has indeed come a long way and has already begun steering away from its meme-coin label by working on projects that aim to provide some solid utility. With projects like SHI and the Dog Park included in the vision for Shiba Inu, it is pretty much on track to become a thriving crypto-ecosystem with real uses.
